Like most things in life, window wipers don’t last forever. The normal life expectancy of wiper blades is 6 to 12 months. Over time, they wear and become rigid, especially in hot or cold weather, which are common in the Sioux Falls area. In winter, ice may build up under the wipers and stiffen their rubber components.
